Review
UltraCompare is a very useful utility from IDM Computer Solutions that compares files with each other. It can be used to compare text files and folders, as well as zip files and jar archives. You can compare two or three text files at the same time and folders can be compared on a local network too. This version is very fast with extremely powerful threaded processing. The GUI has undergone some major changes with a streamlined interface and tree styled navigation. The options menu is customized and new settings are added that can be used to alter different aspects of this application. UltraSentry integration is also there, that securely deletes the compared or temporary files. Execution controls are added on the toolbar from where you can start, stop and refresh your comparision. Web Compare is the latest functionality added in this version with which you can easily compare web files(.html files), a very well thought feature. Functionality in this version is now more useful. It is nice utility to have. |
